Libertatem Healthcare Group are seeking to recruit an experienced support worker to work with our male client in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Our client has an acquired brain injury and has made fantastic progress since his accident. Our client experiences memory and cognitive difficulties associated with his brain injury as well as being registered blind.

Hours

(Flexible)
09:30-24:00 Monday to Friday. (14:30-17:00, 20:00-24:00 for the staff remain on call)
There may also be additional hours available at weekends accompanying him on trips and excursions.

Responsibilities
As part of his support team you will be responsible for assisting with:
• The delivery of his rehabilitation programme
• Supporting our client to access the community
• Providing encouragement and motivation
• Some basic household tasks
• Organising appointments
• Attending ongoing medical appointment with our client

Training
You will be provided with full training prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
