Libertatem Healthcare is seeking to recruit *Due to the needs of our client* Rehabilitation assistants to work with our Male brain injury client who lives in Liverpool.
The role would suit a health or social care undergraduate in their final year, or a health or social care graduate or post-graduate student.
Our Client is dependent on all his care needs and receives 24-hour care daily. He relies on his care team for all aspects of his life including all elements of his care needs and access to the community.
The client is considered to be in a minimally conscious state of awareness and relies solely on those supporting him to improve his quality of life.
We are looking for candidates with real enthusiasm for the role, the ability to use their own initiative, and for someone who is passionate about providing the best possible outcomes for our client. You should be an excellent communicator and able to maintain good, clear and concise records.
A demonstratable understanding of working with individuals with traumatic/acquired brain injury is essential.
20 hours per week, split over 4 / 5 days.
Actual hours and days are flexible and are to be agreed with successful applicant(s).
The successful candidate(s) would be provided with all necessary training and support from a privately commissioned Interdisciplinary team, inclusive of Neuro Physiotherapist, Neuro Occupational Therapist and Neuro Speech and Language therapist and a Specialist RGN Case Manager.
* An Enhanced DBS Check is required for the role
