Libertatem Healthcare Group are looking to recruit a Registered Manager to work from our Head Office in Wokingham.

Job Purpose

The role of the Registered Manager is to provide day to day management of compliance and governance services to achieve a high degree of service delivery, ensuring that goals are achieved through effective management practices and staff are motivated and supported to achieve strategic, long term and sustainable customer service relationships. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager to ensure that strategic bench marks are in place to develop and grow the business and ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with statutory requirements and organisational policies and procedures.

The Registered Manager is expected to:

  • Provide leadership and support for all staff
  • Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice
  • Uphold the rights, choice and dignity of Service Users.
  • Ensure Libertatem Healthcare Group policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Ensure Care Quality Commission standards are met for all clients.
  • Deliver a high quality care service without discrimination

Hours

Monday – Friday (£45k OTE)

Main Tasks and Duties

  • Maintain good levels of communication with all employees via the use of team meetings, one to one discussions and email.
  • Management of implementation of new business in accordance with statutory requirements and local policy and procedures
  • To develop and deliver a compliance and governance framework to support all aspects of service delivery to our clients, employees and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and monitor compliance using the company’s internal software system.
  • To review and monitor all incidents, accidents and untoward events that are reported and logged. That incidents that require further investigation are delegated to appropriately trained staff for investigation.
  • Undertake investigations relating to any non-clinical incidents and follow them through to their appropriate conclusion.
  • Attend client meetings, MDT meetings, meet & greets, seminars and events as and when required to do so.
  • Have an awareness of the levels of business that they company is delivering and the revenue targets that the company has put in place.
  • Plan and undertake regular client and customer review meetings and ensure relevant feedback is obtained.
  • Monitor and act on feedback from our workforce.
  • Report trends in either employee, customer or client satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the company’s HR policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Undertake quarterly employee and client audits as per Governance schedule
  • Undertake regular sampling of coordinator practice for quality assurance purposes, this should include interviews, supervisions and appraisals.
  • Undertake new client audits prior to commencement of care delivery where possible.
  • Ensure all consent forms for all aspects of client care and support are returned signed and updated as necessary.
  • Management and supervision of care coordinators and planning of work to be undertaken and ensure weekly feedback is received for compliance.
  • Ensure senior management team are consulted in any suggested changes in practice or service improvements that could be implemented having been identified through audit/ feedback/ service monitoring and develop the implementation suggestions.
  • Maintain the information required for CQC monitoring and inspections, to include PIR, portfolio of evidence to include compliments, service improvements undertaken, reflections, case studies, lesson learnt (not an exhaustive list)
  • To monitor information from CQC that provide information about changes required, service delivery improvements, legislative changes required and implement following approval of senior management team
  • Management and coordination of statutory requirements for safe delivery of service during Covid pandemic.
