Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking to recruit *Due to our clients needs* an experienced Male Experienced Support Worker to support our young male (17yrs old) who lives in Peterborough with his family.

The role requires sensitivity to the young person and his family’s needs and to work in partnership with a wider multi-disciplinary team, to support the his progression and development into adulthood.

You will undertake a wide range of duties relating to the care, and rehabilitation.

You must have some relevant experience, be flexible, proactive, and follow appropriate training and supervision. Experience of gastronomy feeding and administration of medication is preferred but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in support work working alongside experienced therapists and professionals

Hours

Our client has cerebral palsy and needs support throughout the day on a 2:1 basis.

Hours

Monday to Sunday 09:30 – 19:30 (per rota basis)

Responsibilities

As part of his support team, you will be responsible for assisting with

· Providing encouragement and motivation

· Providing development and social activities

· The delivery of his rehabilitation program

Training & Background Checks

An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
