Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking to recruit *Due to our client needs a female* enthusiastic, solution focused individual to support our young client in her mid 20’s who has Cerebral Palsy and Complex needs.
She is a very active, fun-loving young lady that enjoys doing various activities throughout the week. She communicates using a mix of speech and Makaton (sign language), though she hears and understands spoken word perfectly and makes herself understood. She is based just outside Chippenham in a wonderful location. She would love to become an active member of her local community.

This role will provide rewarding opportunities for personal and professional development. You will become part of a fantastic team of knowledgeable staff and become part of a wider professional team which includes (but is not limited to) Clinical Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist and Drama Therapist.
Applicants will preferably have the following
· Experience with Learning disabilities
· Minimum of 2 years Care experience
Our client has cerebral palsy and needs support throughout the day on a 2:1 basis.

Responsibilities
As part of her support team, you will be responsible for;
· Providing encouragement and motivation
· Providing opportunities for development and social participation
· integrating therapy programmes into every day life
· Assisting with activities of daily living
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
