Libertatem Healthcare are seeking to recruit experienced (due to our clients needs) female brain injury support workers who would work with a teenage girl with a brain injury.
Our client lives in Aylesbury with her family. We will be supporting our client on 2:1 basis.
Hours
Days
7am – 7pm Monday to Sunday (alternate weekends will be required)
Waking Nights
7pm – 7am Monday to Sunday (alternate weekends will be required)Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily tasks
- Accompanying to appointments/activities outside of the home
- Administering medication as and when necessary, after appropriate training
- Provide personalised support in a sensitive and confidential manner, to individual and family
- Support her engagement in activities that are meaningful and relevant
- Communication partner
- Setting up and maintaining her environment
- Partnership working in therapy sessions
- Excellent record keeping
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
