Libertatem Healthcare are seeking to recruit *Due to our clients needs* Female brain injury support workers for a 30 year old female in Truro.
Hours
· 24/7: sleep in nights
Responsibilities
You will be supporting our client, a young female who sustained a brain injury some years ago. Our client lives at home with her young child. Our client requires support cognitively with managing the demands of motherhood and engaging with activities of daily living. Our client is epileptic so at times may require you to led on childcare tasks if she is recovering from a seizure.
Our client is actively involved within her local community. You will be required to provide support away from the home with attending the gym, swimming, dance classes, children’s playgroups and more. Our client is exploring other groups she can engage with and vocational options are too being considered. Our client needs to be supported to reach her full potential.
Our client is outgoing and fun. She would like her support worker to be a highly skilled communicator, empathic, confident and sociable. The approach to support is rehabilitative. Our client needs to be supported in a way to optimise independence. Experience within brain injury is must
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
