Libertatem Healthcare is seeking to recruit *Due to our clients’ needs* an Experienced Female Support Worker to work with our client in Knebworth, Hertfordshire.
The client is in her late 20s and she is living with a severe acquired brain injury. She has a range of needs with respect to her healthcare, and communication. The client requires assistance with all aspects of her personal care. The client lives at home with her grandfather in her own annexe of the house.
Your role will be to provide support and care with her daily activities and to work with the rest of the support and therapy teams to develop the client’s communication skills, to promote a greater degree of independence in her daily regime and to assist her to expand her social and leisure interests.
The client is supported by a multi-disciplinary team which includes, a physiotherapist, a speech and language therapist and an occupational therapist. The client’s rehabilitation and support is co-ordinated by the case manager.
The support team is supported and directly supervised by the support worker Team Leader.
Mondays – 9am – 4pm
Tuesdays – 3pm – 9pm
Wednesdays – 3pm – 9pm
Mondays – 3pm – 9pm
Tuesdays – 3pm – 9pm
Wednesdays – 9am – 4pm
Fridays – 3pm – 9pm
Saturdays – 9am – 4pm
Sundays – 3pm – 9pm
As for week 3
· Assisting with rehabilitation program
· Supporting our client to access the community
· Providing encouragement and motivation
You will be provided with full training prior to commencing work with our client
*An Enhanced DBS Check is required for the role
· Extensive training
· Regular supervisions
· Annual appraisal
· Weekly Pay
